Roberta Bantel

Executive Coach

Roberta is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and a certified Master Facilitator with over three decades of leadership development, executive coaching and facilitation to support leaders to reach their full potential.

As a coach and facilitator, Roberta serves leaders across five continents. She specializes in one-on-one executive coaching, team coaching, and customized leadership development programs. Her client portfolio includes CEOs and senior executives across diverse sectors including banking, finance, law, strategic consultancy, government, non- profit, automotive, oil and gas, advertising, communication, and clean energy industries.


Roberta's multicultural background—having lived and worked in six different countries in four continents—uniquely positions her to coach senior leaders operating in cross- cultural environments. She offers coaching services in English, Swedish, and Portuguese, and has conversational abilities in German and Spanish. Her global experience encompasses work across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.


In academia, Roberta serves on the faculty at Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies, Institute for Transformational Leadership. Having served as program co-director for the Leadership Coaching Program (2017-2024), she currently serves as adjunct faculty, teaching courses including "Identity and Culture in Coaching", "Introduction to Coaching," and "Coaching for Breakthrough Results."


Committed to professional excellence and community service, Roberta serves as an assessor for the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and volunteers through the ICF Foundation, contributing to projects with UNICEF, The Friendship Place, and MSF. Her local engagement includes past service on the board and chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at STABLE ARTS (2019-2022), and current service as a board trustee at the Field School, Washington, DC.
