    PREPARATION

    New thought habits are introduced that are required to move from “VUCA” (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) to “VUCA Positive” (Vision, Understanding, Clarity, and Agility). You will learn practical ways to lead self and others effectively through and beyond VUCA. You will define Where You Are Now; Where You Want and Need to Be; and How to Get There. Working together with other participants, you will identify what tools you already have and get new ones to enhance and expand your attention management skills. 

     

    When we’re done, you will be armed with TTPs that can elevate confidence and calm, improve productivity, and enable you and your team to be more powerful, competent contributors. This course is led by Kenny Leahman, a retired CIA undercover officer who is now a Professional Certified Leadership Coach, Master Facilitator, and Educator with more than 6,500 hours coaching and educating individuals, leaders, and teams in over 25 countries.

    FORMAT

    Leading with Emotional Intelligence includes a combination of instructional methodologies. Limited plenary sessions serve to educate the entire workshop on relevant concepts, while small group discussions, facilitated by trained leadership coaches and facilitators, allow participants to apply learned concepts to real experiences and draw conclusions based on the newly acquired knowledge. By design, this workshop limits the amount of traditional plenary sessions to allow for maximum small group time, which is where participants benefit the most.

    As one of the most important components of emotional intelligence, self-awareness concerns the depth and accuracy of knowledge we possess about ourselves. Two forms of self-awareness exist, each representing a different source of information. The most common is internal self-awareness which pertains to how well we know ourselves. The second form is external self-awareness which pertains to our perception of how others think and feel about us. 

    In this workshop, we focus on external self-awareness where we will explain its components and discuss techniques to help you improve the accuracy of your external self-awareness.
