Kenny Leahman

Executive Coach and Facilitator

Kenny specializes in leadership, team alignment, and culture. As a Master Certified Coach, Master Facilitator, Educator, and Strategist, Kenny draws on over 40 years of high-impact experience—including 24 years as a CIA undercover officer, and success as a business owner and executive. His skills are derived from re-inventing himself every 2-3 years to adapt to a new global location, culture, work environment (including combat zones), and team and leadership paradigms.

Kenny’s mantra is Discover, Decide and Do What Matters. He guides clients to a “Mindset Reset” and consequential change with tangible Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). He has over 6,500 hours coaching and training private and public sector leaders and teams in over 25 countries. In the CIA, Kenny directed operations with over 30 countries and developed expertise in leading through chaos and calm; critical decision making; and conflict management. As the first senior CIA officer to volunteer and serve for two years in Afghanistan following 9/11, he led a multi-national team of 350+ individuals. He then trained the largest cadre of officer trainees in CIA history, and designed, launched, and taught the first-ever FBI HUMINT course. He has trained FBI Agents and police officers in nearly all major US cities.

Kenny is a former faculty member at Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership and holds a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Marine Corps University. He has served on several Boards of Directors and is certified in DiSC, Five Behaviors of a Team, EQ-i 2.0, Clifton Strengths, KPI, LPP, and the Global Mindset Inventory.
