Julia Gardner

Leadership Coach

Julia is an Executive and Leadership coach certified through the University of Buffalo School of Management Center on Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, with more than fifteen years of experience honing young professionals’ leadership skills and connecting them with educational and growth opportunities.

Through her direction of the Pacific Forum Young Leaders Program, supporting admissions for the prestigious Schwarzman Scholars Program, and mentoring recent graduates, these young professionals are closer to finding their voices as professionals and leaders.

Julia’s coaching philosophy emphasizes support for her clients, listening with purpose, and establishing a foundation of trust, which creates new meaning and potential transformation for both coach and client. In her corporate partnerships work, Julia brings administrative, insightful leadership development, and strong team-building skills to bear, creating relationships that are force multipliers for the many stakeholders with whom she works.

Julia employs a playful, genuine curiosity, which, in her coaching, is set alongside research-backed tools to help clients identify and celebrate their strengths and find new ways to deploy those gifts as leaders. In other work, this curiosity generates creative solutions and unique opportunities for partnership.

Julia holds a Master’s Degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Asian Studies from Fairfield University in Connecticut.
